Heather & Diesel July 22, 2017

Heather and Diesel had been together for 8 years and have two beautiful daughters together.  They knew they wanted a indoor summer wedding but couldn't find a venue they liked in Cape Coral.  After seeing almost a dozen places, they both fell in love with Vasari Country Club in Bonita.  One of the perks to having a local bride is that I get to be involved in ALL the planning, even the dress shopping and fittings.  I really enjoyed getting to know Heather and her daughters over the 10 month planning process and I wish her and Diesel many more years of happiness together.

Marion & David May 6th 2017

David and Marion both live in Naples and love to be on the water and travel. They both wanted something relaxed and intimate with just close family and friends in their new club house.  With Davids brother and sister by their sides they said "I Do".   David and Marion went with a tropical/nautical theme and we even had the caterer recreate Davids families favorite childhood snack, deviled crab.  "Home should be an ANCHOR, a port in a storm, a refuge, a happy place in which to dwell, a place where we are LOVED  and where we can love" - Marvin J. Ashton I wish these two the best of luck as they begin their married life together.

Sandra & Scott April 21st 2017

Sandra contacted me three months before her wedding.  She has planned a small ceremony near the beach with a reception at her parents home in Ft. Myers.  Sandra absolutely loved doing the wedding planning, but with the day approaching she realized she just couldn't do it all herself.  Sandra and Scott's love for traveling and chemistry made for a unique and fun table names and place cards.  As I always say, expect the unexpected.  Durning the wedding setup I get a call that the brush fires in Naples are out of control and my home and family have to be evacuated.  I can't predict the weather or catastrophic events, so I kept on moving with the wedding. On the bright side.... at least her reception was in Ft. Myers and not Naples.  Sandra and Scotts intimate wedding and reception was done very well with the romantic photos to prove it.

Julie & Kyle April 8, 2017

I had the pleasure of meeting Julie and Kyle in December of 2015 while they were in Naples for the Holidays, almost a year and a half before their wedding.  I love when clients hire me in the very beginning so I am able to assist them with every vendor choice and detail.  The couple was living in Charlotte NC for the entire planning process, but made frequent trips to Florida to meet with vendors.  Julie's love for Kate Spade was very apparent in her decor from the invitations, to the table cloths, to the custom signage at the reception.  Navy blue, gold, and blush made for fun but also romantic atmosphere.  As most brides will find out, not everything always goes as planned.  Halfway though the reception Julie needed a little more comfort for dancing, so I grabbed one of her "honeymoon" dresses for a quick change.  It turned out to be the perfect reception/dancing dress.  I wish Julie and Kyle the best as they start their marriage together.

Ellyn & Dan March 11, 2017

Traditions and Memories- This might be the most sentimental engagement story I have ever heard.  18 months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Ellyn and Dan on their trip down to Naples.  Danny proposed to Ellyn on the same small bridge his father proposed to his mother.. and his grandfather proposed to his grandmother.  The bond and traditions of this family was like no other.  Ellyn grandfather wrote a song for her grandmother years ago and we had it recreated by the string quartet at the wedding ceremony.  "Family is what happens when two people fall in love"  I am so blessed to have met this family and been a part of their special day.  Congratulations to Ellyn and Dan

Tito's Surprise 80th - Jan 7th 2017

What a way to start 2017.... Linda has been a client before.  She hired me a year ago to do her niece's sweet 16.  This birthday was just as special and possibly more.. her fathers 80th.  I am not sure what is up with surprises in this family but I LOVE it.  This Havana Nights theme birthday was amazing. The venue we chose was so perfect with all the greenery and dark colors. The menu was a perfect cuban menu and tasted fantastic.  Her father is very religious and he doesn't do alcohol so I had "mock-tails"  "No-Jiotos and virgin Pina Coladas" were the drinks of the night.  I actually constructed the centerpieces myself from fronds in my own yard and spray painting real pineapples.   Tito was very surprised to see all his children and family all in one room to honor him.  The toasts from all his children brought everyone to tears.  I can say that Linda is no longer a client.. I feel as if she's family.  I look forward to many more important events in her life.

Ryann & Alan - December 3, 2016

Ryann and I met a few years back when she was serving at Naples Flat Bread and thats actually the same place she met Alan.  When she got engaged she originally thought Miami would be easier with all of Alan's family traveling from Guatemala.  After lots of time and consideration they decided to stay here in Naples.  They even honored the special place they met by hosting their welcome party at the local restaurant.

Ryann wanted an elegant and romantic wedding. With the help of myself and Elleson Events, she got just that ... and MORE. From the invitations to the seating cards to her amazing gowns... I don't think it could have gotten anymore elegant.  The bride's two sisters "speech" was a song they wrote and sang and played guitar, there wasn't one dry eye at that reception.  I can say that 2016 couldn't have ended with a more perfect wedding and more perfect couple.  This wedding was featured on The Every Last Detail http://theeverylastdetail.com/modern-elegant-blush-gold-florida-wedding/

Amy & Paul - November 20th, 2016

Amy and Pauls love story is one of my favorites.  They met 25 years prior in a diner in Paul's hometown.  They started out as friends and then fell in love.  Time and distance pushed them apart but they always remained friends and kept in touch over holidays and birthdays.  Paul stated in his vows "in my heart I always knew this would happen, soulmates NEED each other.  Coming down to Florida for a visit 5 years ago and in another soul joining moment, we fell deeply again in love"

I couldn't be happier that these two have finally made it official and have started their lives together as husband and wife.
