Jim & Dina Jan 19th 2019

Jim & Dina had recently moved from Jacksonville to Atlanta and wanted to have an intimate destination wedding in the mountains. After researching a few mountain venues we knew that The Grove Park Inn was the perfect fit with their brand new ballroom …. all glass walls overlooking the mountains. Dina wanted a winter wedding and they picked Jan 19th because that was her parents 45 wedding anniversary. Dina mother and father worked together to make all the centerpieces and ceremony decor. Due to rain and freezing temperatures we had to move the ceremony inside but the beautiful stone fireplace turned out to be the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony. Dina looked breathtaking in her long sleeve bridal gown by Martina Liana and after the ceremony the rain stopped and they were able to step outside for some amazing photos. Even their dog Ollie had a custom tux for the wedding ceremony

Rob & Maddie - December 1, 2018

The grooms mother Monica reached out to me regarding her son’s upcoming destination wedding on Marco Island. She didn’t want to over step the brides family with regards to the actual wedding but wanted help with hotel welcome bags, finding the perfect location for the rehearsal dinner and day of wedding help for the groomsmen. Together we found the perfect dinner location and planned a fabulous night for all the out of town guests. I really enjoyed working with the entire Weigand family as well as the wedding vendors.

Rachael & David - Nov 17th 2018

This might be the hardest blog I have ever written. I have stared at the computer screen for hours (because I am a planner… not a writer). I have known Rachael and David for years. It all started out 6 years ago with my friendship with Cindy, Rachael’s mom. We hit it off right away.. two independent mothers. A few years later I was planning Allan; Davids older brothers wedding and found out that David had bought Rachael a ring and was going to propose. I threatened his life if he proposed during Allan and Ryann’s wedding. (Luckily he waited a couple of weeks and did it in NY)

Through Cindy I have had an special relationship with her daughter Rachel, Ryann, and the Scott family. It was truly an honor for me to plan this AMAZING wedding. To watch the love between Rachael and David grow over the years and see their future in front of them was something I don’t normally get to do as a wedding planner. I teared up numerous times on this night and still do looking at these pictures. I am so happy for Rachael and David and wish them the best future.

Nicki & Chris April 21st 2018

I met with Nicki and her mother a little less than a year before her upcoming wedding. We hit it off right from the start. The way her face lit up when she talked about Chris and their courtship almost gave me butterflies. I had attended events at Miromar Lakes and had always wanted to plan a wedding there. The unique shaped ballroom with windows that overlook the water offered the perfect combination for their style and vision.

Monica & Chris - Feb 24th 2018

Monica and Chris contacted me a year out knowing they wanted a SW Florida beach wedding.  I took them to see lots of venues and they fell in love with The Naples Beach Hotel.  They wanted and early morning ceremony followed by brunch and lawn games.  I fell in LOVE with the brunch wedding idea, I think it was the best idea a client has had in a very long time.  Monica and Chris not only got married on Feb 24th, but Monica became a stepmom at the same time.  I am so happy for this new family.

Hallie & Bob Oct 29th 2017

Hallie and Bob contacted me about 6 months prior to their wedding day.  They knew they wanted a small intimate ceremony in a special location.  The Continental in downtown Naples was one one of their favorite places to eat, hang out and grab drinks.  It was the perfect venue for their special day.  We rented out the restaurant for their 1st ever wedding ceremony and reception.  The venue is already draped in beautiful greenery and florals so we added just some more florals and lots and lots of lanterns.  We had the ceremony in the courtyard, cocktail hour in the open restaurant (while my team transformed the courtyard into the reception).  I really hope I am able to use this venue again for an event its was so unique and romantic.

Brandon & Tiffany Nov 4 2017

Brandon and Tiffany met in 2007 at The University of Central Florida.  After bring together 10 years... they were finally ready to say I DO!  Tiffany knew she wanted a "garden theme romantic wedding" and I knew Shangri La would be the perfect venue for them.  They both fell in love with the venue as soon as they saw it.  Tiffany had visions of lavender everywhere and romantic candle light.  The hardest part for Tiffany (being in the wedding dress industry) was finding that perfect dress... she felt as she had seen them all.  She finally decided on TWO... a very romantic flowing ceremony dress and then a form fitting feather bottom reception dress... and the personalized "Wifey" leather jacket!  She rocked both dresses and we had a fantastic evening dating the night away with the band.

Amanda & Alex Sep 30th 2017

I met Alex a few years ago when he was managing a local restaurant in Naples.  He texted me the day he proposed to Amanda and was so excited to start planning their upcoming wedding.  Alex and Amanda met back in high school but reconnected in college and started a romantic relationship.  Unfortunately NO bride or wedding planner could have prepared for Hurricane Irma and its aftermath just 2 short weeks before their wedding day.

We had to make lots of compromises and last minute changes but the end result was stunning.  The cocktail hour area lost its roof so we ended up stringing up bistro lighting for ambiance.  As you will see in the pictures... sometimes expect the unexpected.
