........ Because in your dreams every detail matters

Amanda & Alex Sep 30th 2017

I met Alex a few years ago when he was managing a local restaurant in Naples.  He texted me the day he proposed to Amanda and was so excited to start planning their upcoming wedding.  Alex and Amanda met back in high school but reconnected in college and started a romantic relationship.  Unfortunately NO bride or wedding planner could have prepared for Hurricane Irma and its aftermath just 2 short weeks before their wedding day.

We had to make lots of compromises and last minute changes but the end result was stunning.  The cocktail hour area lost its roof so we ended up stringing up bistro lighting for ambiance.  As you will see in the pictures... sometimes expect the unexpected.

Liz & Patrick Nov 17 2017

Liz & Patrick met in Jan 2013 at Veterinary School in St Kitts.  Their 1st date was a study break and having hotdogs at a gas station.  The two traveled all over the world taking care of animals together and Patrick proposed in Prague.  After doing clinicals in Oklahoma, the two landed jobs in sunny Naples Florida.  Although now residents of Naples, they were really having a designation wedding for all their guests.  Liz was the most easy going bride who wanted a beach theme wedding. Liz told all her bridesmaids to pick out their own "blush" dresses ... and didn't even see them till the day of the wedding. I am so happy with how everything came together so flawlessly. Intimate weddings outside under the sunset are absolutely breathtaking.

Jennifer & Michael Nov 10th 2017

"At some point in life, someone will love you more than what you've expected. Be patient and learn to wait, because sometimes, a patient person receives the best love story"

Jennifer and Michael met at  The World Series 2014 Kanas City Royals baseball game 6.  Jennifer's father used to play for the Royals for 14 years as a left handed pitcher and might have been looking down on them that special day.  Their mutual love of sports and life quickly drew their relationship into much more than a friendship. Jennifer just knew Michael was THE ONE.  Jennifer's mom had a condo in Ft. Myers so she wanted to have a November wedding in SW Florida on the beach and escape the cold from Kansas in the winter.  After seeing a few beach options, she decided on Naples Beach Hotel as the perfect location.  We had a wonderful long weekend of wedding festivities surrounded by great music, family and friends.  I absolutely LOVED the way the tropical colors really popped against the green lawn and in the ballroom.  I haven't done a "tropical" themed wedding in a long time and this one was tropical but also extremely romantic. There wasn't a single detail overlooked.. from the tropical flowers, to tropical flavors in the cake ... to the cigar rollers at the end of the night.   I wish Jen and Michael a lifetime of happiness.

Taylor & Scott Oct 13th 2017

Taylor reached out to me soon after her engagement to help plan her fall 2017 wedding.  She wanted a FALL theme wedding and I jumped at the chance to do something outside the box.  They were my 1st Shangri La wedding and I was very excited to utilize this amazing venue.  Less than a month before their wedding day... hurricane IRMA hit SW Florida and caused major damage to the venue.  I will admit this wedding season there were some major hurdles and obstacles due to Irma... but my team helped me pull off NOT 1 but 7 weddings in 8 weeks.

Taylor and I bonded over the past year and I am super excited to share their photos... I KNOW 2018 will be the best year yet for her and Scott.  I love all my brides but the local ones that I get to keep in touch with always have a special place in my heart,  Oh and this talented woman worked 7 days a week for 6 straight months and baked all the deserts for her own wedding... she was truly an inspiration.

Heather & Diesel July 22, 2017

Heather and Diesel had been together for 8 years and have two beautiful daughters together.  They knew they wanted a indoor summer wedding but couldn't find a venue they liked in Cape Coral.  After seeing almost a dozen places, they both fell in love with Vasari Country Club in Bonita.  One of the perks to having a local bride is that I get to be involved in ALL the planning, even the dress shopping and fittings.  I really enjoyed getting to know Heather and her daughters over the 10 month planning process and I wish her and Diesel many more years of happiness together.

Marion & David May 6th 2017

David and Marion both live in Naples and love to be on the water and travel. They both wanted something relaxed and intimate with just close family and friends in their new club house.  With Davids brother and sister by their sides they said "I Do".   David and Marion went with a tropical/nautical theme and we even had the caterer recreate Davids families favorite childhood snack, deviled crab.  "Home should be an ANCHOR, a port in a storm, a refuge, a happy place in which to dwell, a place where we are LOVED  and where we can love" - Marvin J. Ashton I wish these two the best of luck as they begin their married life together.

Sandra & Scott April 21st 2017

Sandra contacted me three months before her wedding.  She has planned a small ceremony near the beach with a reception at her parents home in Ft. Myers.  Sandra absolutely loved doing the wedding planning, but with the day approaching she realized she just couldn't do it all herself.  Sandra and Scott's love for traveling and chemistry made for a unique and fun table names and place cards.  As I always say, expect the unexpected.  Durning the wedding setup I get a call that the brush fires in Naples are out of control and my home and family have to be evacuated.  I can't predict the weather or catastrophic events, so I kept on moving with the wedding. On the bright side.... at least her reception was in Ft. Myers and not Naples.  Sandra and Scotts intimate wedding and reception was done very well with the romantic photos to prove it.

Julie & Kyle April 8, 2017

I had the pleasure of meeting Julie and Kyle in December of 2015 while they were in Naples for the Holidays, almost a year and a half before their wedding.  I love when clients hire me in the very beginning so I am able to assist them with every vendor choice and detail.  The couple was living in Charlotte NC for the entire planning process, but made frequent trips to Florida to meet with vendors.  Julie's love for Kate Spade was very apparent in her decor from the invitations, to the table cloths, to the custom signage at the reception.  Navy blue, gold, and blush made for fun but also romantic atmosphere.  As most brides will find out, not everything always goes as planned.  Halfway though the reception Julie needed a little more comfort for dancing, so I grabbed one of her "honeymoon" dresses for a quick change.  It turned out to be the perfect reception/dancing dress.  I wish Julie and Kyle the best as they start their marriage together.
